Dave fasste den Entschluss, ein Solo-Instrumentalalbum im Bereich Rock und Metal zu produzieren, um einmal einen vollkommen anderen Weg einzuschlagen.
Gemeinsam mit dem Gitarristen Jan Ackermann, mit dem Dave Groewer bereits seit vielen Jahren zusammen arbeitet, entstand das 1. Studio-Album 2015 unter dem Titel „Heavy Dreams“. Dieses Album von Dave & Friends erreichte beim Deutschen Rock- und Pop Preis 2017 den 2. Platz in der Kategorie „Bestes Instrumentalalbum“.
Das 2. Studio-Album mit dem Namen „Dark Island“ entstand 2018 wieder mit Jan Ackermann. Dieses Album erzählt von einem musikalischen Abenteuer auf einer unbekannten, mystischen Insel. Eine Insel, auf der Vergangenheit und Zukunft in der Gegenwart aufeinander treffen und für Chaos sorgen. Auf dem Digipack-CD-Cover wird dieses Abenteuer phantasievoll dargestellt. Abwechslungsreiche Melodien nehmen den Zuhörer mit auf die phantastische Reise.

Dave Groewer aus Kaarst ist der Kopf und Schlagzeuger der Instrumental Melodic-Metal-Band „Dave Groewer Rebirth“.
Während des ersten Corona Lockdowns hat Dave Groewer die Zeit genutzt und gemeinsam mit dem Produzenten Boris Hanzer im B-Orange-Studio seine erste Rock-Solo-Single mit dem Titel „Timeless“ aufgenommen.
Bereits als 14-jähriger Schlagzeugschüler träumte er davon, seine eigene Vinyl-Single in der Hand zu halten.
Jetzt schien der richtige Zeitpunkt gekommen zu sein, sich diesen Jugendtraum zu erfüllen.
Sein erster Rock-Solo-Song „Timeless“ ist nun erstmals auch als Vinyl-Single erhältlich!

Dave made the decision to produce a solo instrumental album in the range of rock and metal, once to take a completely different path.
Together with the guitarist Jan Ackermann, with whom Dave Groewer has been working together for many years, the first studio album 2015 was created under the title „Heavy Dreams“. With this album reached Dave & Friends the 2nd place in the category „Best Instrumental Album“ at the German Rock and Pop Award 2017.
The second studio album called „Dark Island“ was formed in 2018 again with Jan Ackermann. This album tells of a musical adventure on an unknown, mystical island. An island where past and future meet in the present and create chaos. On the Digipack CD cover, this adventure is imaginatively presented. Varied melodies take the listener on a fantastic journey.

Dave Groewer from Kaarst is the head and drummer of the instrumental melodic metal band „Dave Groewer Rebirth“.
During the first Corona Lockdown, Dave Groewer used the time to record his first rock solo single entitled „Timeless“ together with producer Boris Hanzer in the B-Orange studio.
