SEVENTH SON ist eine progressive Heavy Metal Band aus Tokio, Japan.
Die Band wurde im Jahr 2000 von Yasumoto (G), Tai (Dr) und Suzuki (B) gegründet.
Die Musik, die sie kreiert haben, ist ein harter Sound mit melodischem Gesang und progressive, hauptsächlich beeinflusst von Bands wie RUSH und Dream Theater.

Das dritte Album „Arc of Infinity“ wurde in Japan veröffentlicht und von japanischen Medien, allen voran BURRN! Und Young Guitar aufgegriffen. Dieses Album unterscheidet sich von der vorherigen Arbeit. Die einfacheren und melodischeren Klänge von SEVENTH SON faszinieren nicht nur Metal-Fans, sondern begeistern genreübergreifend die Musikliebhaber. Die Arc of Infinity Tour in Japan und Kuala Lumpur Malaysia mit 11 Shows wurde mit großem Erfolg gefeiert. Nun wird das Album auch für den Rest der Welt veröffentlicht.
