Biography of Savage Crow (the best band in the world ;) )
As the name tells you, Savage Crow is absolutely wild. Not only in their outer appearance, but also in their musical expression:
This Power-Metal-Band was founded in 2006 by Ivi, guitarist and drumer, and Markus, also guitarist. These two build the basis of Savage Crow.
After a riotous first year with conflicts in interest and some reformations, finally, in April 2007 a band was formed which fits together perfectly, not only on musical but also on a personal level.
Since then the band members are Betty (vocals), Pini (vocals), Ivi (guitar), Markus (guitar), Gerald (bass) and Patrick (drums), who altogether live a great passion in playing live-gigs.
With a high intensity in creativity and initiative and a lot of fun they churn out Power-Metal-songs and work them out together as long as they need until every member is absolutely satisfied. That's not always easy to manage, but it's necessary to create a typical Savage Crow-song on which everybody can be proud.
Savage Crow has developed a style, which can be described as hard Metal, dressed in a melodic raiment. The various guitar rhythms and the emotional melody, mixed up with the right groove, are unified to a absolutely new and independent way of music.
Also the lyrics are convincing and deal with touching topics such as the enormous sorrow of children, forced to fight in wars, which the song “Angles of battlefield” is about. Another example is the song “loaded attack” in which a rampage is described.
With this awesome mixture, success needn't long to be waited for: In July 2007 Savage Crow manage to reach the final at the “battle of bands” contest in Eslarn and within an ace could have won it, but unfortunately didn't. In autumn the band got its first record contract at STF-Records.
Since November Savage Crow are working in the studio and producing their debut-album “Way of the cross” (including 12 tracks), which will be released in April 2008, which means: 12 tracks full of Melodic-power-Metal in its finest way!
