TO RESIST FATALITY arranged themself in 2004 in Göttingen, Germany.
Since that time TRF is standing for melodic Death- Metal without Genre- blinders: sometimes blackmetal demoniac, then again progressive coltish, sometimes harmoniously and sometimes brutal, but always with much melody for catchy but individual songs. After the demo phase and the strengthening of the Lineup by Shows in 2005 TRF recorded their first album in spring 2006 as an own production: „Called To Create“ contains 8 Songs in a noble Diggypack and could persuade STF-Records to a co-operation with the band.
In summer and autumn 2007 the band recorded their second album in the GerNA-Studios Bochum. „IANUS“ consists of 7 Songs about 50 minutes and will be released in spring 2008 via STF. With this album TRF found their style, the first-class production brings the sound of this band to a new level. The CD IANUS has a complex poster artwork, and shows with this, that TRF embrace some arts, to demonstrate their music and feelings. The high standard applies to the lyrics also. The lyrics are about politics and social things, reflections over themselves and philosophie.
The album released in springtime 2008 and was followed by a great tour through germany and also for the first time through poland.
